2. Formation of Contract & Orders

  • An order placed on printedribbons.com constitutes an offer to purchase goods.
  • Acceptance of your order occurs when we issue an order confirmation email, forming a legally binding contract under English law.
  • We reserve the right to decline any order due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or failure of payment authorisation.

3. Custom & personalised Goods

  • Proofing: You are responsible for ensuring all custom artwork, wording, colours, and specifications supplied are accurate prior to final confirmation.
  • Bespoke Exemption: Under Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the standard statutory 14-day right to cancel does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised (e.g., custom-printed ribbons).

4. Pricing, Payment & Delivery

  • Pricing: All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and state whether VAT is included. Delivery charges are calculated at checkout.
  • Payment: Orders must be paid in full prior to production or dispatch. Payments are processed securely via encrypted third-party gateways.
  • Delivery: Delivery estimates are non-binding unless explicitly agreed in writing. Risk of damage or loss passes to you upon physical delivery of the items.

5. Returns, Faults & Statutory Rights

  • Faulty or Incorrect Items: If goods arrive damaged, defective, or not as ordered, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  • Notification: Please notify us at support@printedribbons.com within 30 days of receipt, including photos of any fault or defect.

6. Intellectual Property & Acceptable Content

  • Customer Submissions: You guarantee that you hold all necessary copyright, trademark, or licensing rights for any logos, images, or text submitted for printing.
  • Indemnity: You agree to indemnify Printed Ribbon Company Ltd against any legal claims or liabilities arising from trademark or copyright infringement related to user-supplied designs.
  • Prohibited Content: We reserve the right to refuse artwork containing illegal, offensive, defamatory, or infringing material.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
  • For commercial buyers, our total liability for any loss or damage arising under this contract shall not exceed the total value of the goods ordered.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
